First Dental Visit

What to Expect at Your Child’s First Visit

We take pride in making your child feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they walk through our doors. To help build trust, we’ll gently introduce all of our tools by showing them on their hands first. Your child will be warmly welcomed by one of our amazing dental hygienists, who will perform a thorough cleaning of their teeth.

During the visit, we’ll also provide guidance on proper tooth brushin and flossing techniques, along with nutritional counseling and tips to help prevent cavities and gum disease. If appropriate for your child’s age, we will take X-rays, followed by a comprehensive examination by the dentist.  Appointments typically last about 30 minutes, and we do
everything we can to ensure your child’s experience is comfortable, positive, and most importantly, fun! At the end of the visit, your child will receive a special goody bag filled with home care items, along with magical coins to use at our treasure toy tower.
