Dr.Michael King earned his degree from Temple University and has been in private practice since 1986. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Jokes, magic tricks and a calming nature help define Dr.Mike’s unique skill in treating patients. He has pioneered the philosophy or “flossophy” as he likes to call it, that smiling and laughing should be part of a child’s dental experience. He firmly believes that if you enjoy going to the dentist as a child, it will lead to a lifetime of better brushing and excellent oral health. This “flossophy” is reflected throughout the office as well as in Dr. Mike’s lectures and writings. Dr. Mike’s book, “Flossopher and the Brushing Tree” is so well received that many parents say, it’s their child’s favorite book. A Colorado native, Dr.King enjoys skiing and jogging. If he is not enjoying his time in the office or performing in comedy clubs, he is most content spending time with his beautiful wife, Sophie, and daughter, Annabelle. He is honored and thankful to all his patients and parents for given him the privilege of being part of their journey.
